AutoSync Tips

In general, most settings can be left as standard. AutoSync will be able to find the difference in feeds that are slightly degraded (like different compression codecs) with the standard settings.

There are 2 main controls:
“Offset” will apply an offset to the delayed signal. This can be used to do adjustments to taste, or adjustments because the latency that the ASIO driver reports is not correct.
“Threshold” will change the amount of difference between the feeds that will be accepted while the control value is created. Normally, 80 is a good number. This will allow for minor differences. At 25 we have had some success to sync a PA coming into 2 totally different microphones and totally different microphone positions. You can experiment to see if your use case works with a specific setting.
